Laura, the cook of Palazzo Papaleo, since the early hours of the morning, while everything is still silent, is in the kitchen churning out hot cakes and preparing all kinds of delicacies. For her it is important that our guests can wake up with the aroma of her cakes in the corridors and on the stairs of the Palazzo, because there is no better way to start the day.

At sunset, you will find her there again, preparing delicious dishes to be enjoyed on the terrace and just before dinner, all guests can peek in and taste one of her traditional dishes, sipping a glass of Apulian wine. Yes, it has become one of our standards which distinguishes us from ordinary hotels. Every Sunday morning in a Pugliese house a child wakes up with the aroma of freshly made sauce, freshly fried meatballs… and steals a “forbidden” taste from the kitchen. We wanted to recreate one of those moments, just for you, every day…
